This visit, yet to be officially confirmed by Trump or the UAW, implies that he will miss the second Republican Primary Debate scheduled for the same day. Trump’s visit is said to include a primetime speech.
The ex-president has been vocal about his support for the UAW workers, criticizing President Biden’s green energy policies and accusing him of favoring China. Trump’s sentiments were echoed in a recent post on his social media app, Truth.
