Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., challenged House Republicans contemplating the impeachment of President Joe Biden, daring them to proceed.
Fetterman believes the impeachment talk is a diversion from former President Trump’s legal issues. He criticized the impeachment discussions, stating it would undermine the gravity of the impeachment process.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., has shown interest in the impeachment if the Biden administration doesn’t provide certain documents. Fetterman warned that impeachment would be politically detrimental for the Republicans.
He also commented on the age-related criticisms of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., emphasizing the importance of respecting individual choices.
